Seriously Dude

THIS YEAR I MANAGED TO DO IT BEFORE AUGUST ENDED!

I mean I'm already one week into my new school year, but pshaw, details. Still August, still September. It's getting harder to draw nowadays since I "really should be studying instead" and drawing's one of those things that are much harder to conceal your having done than, say, reading.

Okay, I'm making excuses. . . I just really miss drawing and I'm sad I don't do it as much as I want to, and it's truthfully just my own fault. I gotta learn to stop holding myself back.

For some reason this year it came out with a slightly different tone at the end? xD;;;; Sorry! Wasn't really expecting that. Every year in the summer (or "summer") I sit down to draw this comic and I turn to Squire and ask "So what's your situation with Modiro right now?" to get ideas, and this year it ended up like this.

I understand that the handwriting may be a little difficult to read, so here's the dialogue typed out (separated by panel):

Me: Yo, Squire!
Squire: Hm?

Me: Remember Modiro?

Squire: Ah. . .
Squire: the cute blonde?

Me: Yup, that's him.
Squire: Right. . .

Squire: I miss him.

Squire: Is that weird? Missing someone I barely remember?
Me: No. . . I agree with you.

Sorry that the scanner quality isn't very good. . . I've been relying on my iPhone scanner recently since my current living situation is complicated and my fancy, easy scanner isn't as on-hand as it used to be.
